Both Victim and Saviour
It is fascinating that we can embody these two energies at the same time.
That of a victim who needs saving. Who is always looking outside of herself for help, for the next step, for permission.
There is support and we all need that. There is also suppression of our power and agency. For women that is often a consistent temptation. To be the damsel in distress who needs a saviour.
When we do that, we expose ourselves to predators who are ready to prey on us.
If only we knew how much power we have.
There is also our other vice, the need to save everyone and everything. We swop into every relationship, personal or professional and micromanage and save
We become Co-dependents to people’s lack of accountability. We become the answer to everyone’s prayer.
We water everyone’s garden while ours is full of weeds and dead plants.
