How am I doing that to myself?

How am I doing that to myself ?

It seems cruel when someone when things are not going well in your life and you are told that you create your own reality. Do you mean that ‘ I invite the bullies in my life, the haters, the success blockers in my life’? Do you mean that after all this hard work I’ve put in, it is my fault that I’m treated badly? You ask.

It’s true, it doesn’t absolve the bully, the hater or blocker but iwhatever is happening in your outer life is a mirror reflecting to you what is running in your subconscious mind. It is a hard truth to swallow however, it is empowering!

When you assume that what is happening in your life is as a purely as a result of someone’s behaviour – you become a victim. Two things can happen, you will either fall in to despair because it doesn’t matter what you do, someone else has the power. Or you can find comfort in vilifying them, waiting for them to change their behaviour. This creates comfort and relief – everyone can see that you are the victim here.

When you accept that your external circumstances are a reflection of your internal situation; You are empowered to look within where you have the control. The truth is someone’s harsh words or treatment hurts even more when they trigger a subconscious deserving or agreement with their treatment of us.
