WHAT WILL BE COVERED WITHIN EACH MODULE

MODULE 1: Your next level of leadership and impact – Setting and step into your intention.

This workshop is an envisioning and intentions setting exercise: I coach you to deliberately and intentionally, design the leader you want to be, the kind of life you want to live; as an intention to not only work towards, but to embody. I give you strategies for embodying your intentions, so they become the inevitable instead of just being a goal or dream or hope

MODULE 2: Bringing your resistance into the light and healing it so you can stop self-sabotage

We will be unpacking the impact of how childhood wounds keep you from showing up in your power.

In this session, we are going to discuss the issue of the Black Woman and her money, black tax and how this impacts how much money she allows herself to make, how much she gets to keep and how that impacts her relationships with our loved one’s outside of work. We are going to unpack strategies to healing the inner child, the mother wound, and the father wound, and on how to release the saviour complex. But to rather contribute and pass the baton to the next generation.

MODULE 3: What got you here, will not get you there

In this topic we will discuss the challenges and the demand of top-level leadership that are mainly about being rather than doing. Leveraging relationship to achieve strategy. The number of pitfalls women will face in these levels of leadership and some strategies to navigate them.

MODULE 4: Embodying the inner feminine effectiveness

Due to success and leadership being popularly defined from very masculine, hard skills. The feminine way of being which includes being led by one’s intuition, being nurturing, supportive does not always enjoy the same recognition. This often leads to women leaders rejecting these qualities that can help them be more effective in their leadership. In this module we will be unpacking the inner feminine and how to harness this power for effectiveness

MODULE 5: Embodying your inner masculinity for effectiveness: Taking bold decisions and creating legacies.

There is a lot of research that question the issue of gender and characteristics that comes with being a male man that is assumed to be deficient in women. As a result, women often feel as impostors when they exercise these qualities.

This workshop is about tapping into the inner masculine for effectiveness, drive and impact. While healing the imbalanced masculine that characterises the workplace

MODULE 6: Self-Love and Self-Care as a Career Strategy

This workshop is aimed at helping the participants alleviate the burnout stressors that results from the many demands on the woman’s life that often leads to burn-out and self-abandonment. We teach self-love as a tool for the women to deeply value, prioritize and to allow themselves to enjoy success and operate from a full cup.

MODULE 7: Dealing with the Impostor Syndrome and embracing your authentic self

In this session, we will be tacking the issues that comes with how the girl child is often raised. How Women navigate working and leading in a patriarchal, Eurocentric workplace. These often breed archetypes like ‘the Good Girl Syndrome, The Strong Black Woman, and the Mammy archetype and the Imposter Syndrome in the Workplace. How these hold the women back from showing up fully in the Workplace. We will be unpacking strategies on how to overcome these.

MODULE 9: Creating a legacy

In this section we are going to tackle the issue of survivor’s guilt that comes from coming from being the ‘only ‘in leadership and the pressure that this often come with; How this limits trial and error and innovation because of the fear of making mistakes – Perfectionism. Leading Black Women to stifle themselves and not take courageous actions that can create impact, since black women are only afforded so many chances to fail, comparatively. We unpack strategies to embody self-sovereignty and giving yourself permission to take legacy creating decisions

MODULE 10: Creating Community

This session is about Black Women to create support systems among each other. Here, we are going to we deal with the issue of jealousy, envy, ‘all-or-nothing’ where cultures create situations for resource fights and the often-ambivalent relationship that Black Women have with each other and women of other races.

The challenge was only for a week but I’ve learned and shifted so much. One of my best highlights was the linking of childhood trauma and how it shows up in professional spaces. Most of what I experienced in my professional life has a link to my childhood traumas. My other best highlight was the lesson on being authentic. To be honest I cried during this lesson because being authentic has landed me in trouble so many times, to this day I still suffer the consequences thereof. Be that as it may, this lesson has helped me embrace and love authenticity. I got to journal and unpack it, now I recognise the value and currency in my being my authentic self.
